Yes. Foundations Festival is strictly 18+.
Valid photographic ID is required for entry.
Please bring an original:
Driving licence/provisional licence
Passport
Valid PASS-approved proof-of-age card
ID checks will also operate at the bars under Challenge 25.

Tickets are available through the Foundations website and our official Eventbrite page.
Please download your ticket before travelling. Mobile signal and data can become busy when large numbers of people arrive at the same time.
THE BASICS
ARRIVAL & GATE TIMES

Please do not arrive outside the advertised gate times unless this has been agreed directly with festival management.

Live-in vehicles arriving outside these times will not be admitted unless this has been agreed with management.

There is no re-entry once you have left the festival site unless this has been agreed with Foundations management.
If you need to leave for an exceptional reason, speak to management before leaving the site.
Leaving without prior agreement may mean you will not be allowed back in.
Any approved re-entry requires an intact festival wristband and you may be searched again on return.

Yes.
Security searches will be operating at the entrance and may include bags, belongings and vehicles where appropriate.
Please make your belongings easy to search.
Anyone refusing to comply with the festival's conditions of entry or security procedures may be refused entry.
Amnesty boxes will be available at the entrance.

Yes. Camping is included with festival entry tickets.
The public campsite is open for the festival weekend and everyone must leave by 10am Monday 31 August.
Please only camp within designated camping areas and follow instructions from the campsite team.

No.
Camping areas have been laid out to maintain emergency access and fire lanes.
Never pitch tents, chairs or other equipment in marked fire lanes, roads or emergency access routes.
If the campsite team asks you to move something for safety reasons, please work with them.

No.
Sleeping or camping in the public car park is not permitted.
If you want to sleep in a vehicle, you need the appropriate Live-In Vehicle ticket and must use the designated Live-In Vehicle area.

Due to space, fire safety and unnecessary waste, gazebos are not permitted this year.

Personal camping stoves are not permitted.
Boiling water will be available from the Welfare area.

The ground has been exceptionally dry this summer and fire prevention is extremely important.

Please take extra care.
Cigarettes must be completely extinguished and disposed of properly.
Never throw cigarette ends onto the grass or ground.
CAMPING

Yes, providing you have purchased the correct Live-In Vehicle ticket.

Live-in vehicles are allocated approximately a 5m × 5m pitch.
Please keep your vehicle and equipment within your allocated area and maintain all emergency/fire routes.
LIVE-IN VEHICLES
FOOD & ALCOHOL

Yes.
You can bring food for your own personal consumption.
There will also be independent food traders operating throughout the festival.
Please dispose of all waste in the correct bins.

Yes, but there is a strict personal allowance.
Each attendee may bring either:
12 cans of beer/cider
OR
one 3-litre box of wine
NO SPIRITS.
This allowance is for personal consumption.
Excessive alcohol will be confiscated at the entrance.
You must be 18+ to attend; ID checks apply on the gate and all bars.

NO GLASS.
Glass is not permitted on site.
If you have drinks in glass bottles, decant them into suitable plastic containers before travelling.
Please help us protect the farm, livestock, staff and everyone using the site after the festival.
WATER, SHOWERS & TOILETS

Yes.
Free drinking-water points are located throughout the site and campsite.
Bring a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated.

Yes.
Weekend shower passes are available for £15.

Yes.
Accessible showers, toilets and parking are available.

Yes — with the correct lake/swimming access.
Weekend swimming access costs £15.
Swimming is managed by the professional lake safety team and is only permitted during designated opening hours.

Swimming sessions operate:
9am–1pm
and
2pm–6pm
each day.
Swimming outside the designated sessions is not permitted.

Yes.
Qualified open-water lifeguards supervise the lake during swimming sessions and numbers in the water are controlled.
Please listen to the lake team and follow their instructions at all times.
Anyone considered too intoxicated to swim safely will be refused access.

Yes.
The lake water is tested ahead of the festival as part of our water-safety arrangements.

No.
Only enter and exit the lake using the designated managed areas and during official swimming sessions.
Never enter the water when the lake is closed.
THE LAKE

Yes.
Parking passes are £5 and must be purchased in advance.
Have your parking ticket ready when you arrive.
Please do not park on surrounding roads, grass verges or in neighbouring villages.

Yes.
There is a designated festival drop-off and collection area.
Follow the relevant signage when approaching the site.

Yes.
Huntingdon railway station is approximately a 15-minute taxi journey from the festival.
Where possible, share taxis with friends or other festival-goers to reduce traffic and cost.

No animals are allowed on site at any time.

All attendees will need to be off site by 10am on the 31st August.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Foundations operates a zero-tolerance policy towards illegal drugs and controlled substances, including legal highs.
Security searches will operate on entry and amnesty boxes will be provided at the entrance.
Anyone found bringing prohibited substances onto site may be refused entry or removed from the event and, where appropriate, the matter may be referred to police.
However, if you or somebody else becomes unwell during the festival, get medical help immediately.
Don't delay asking for help because you're worried about getting into trouble.
Medical and Welfare are there to keep people safe.
DRUGS POLICY

Yes.
Professional Medical and Welfare facilities operate 24 hours a day throughout the festival.
If you need help, speak to Medical, Welfare, Security, a steward or another member of the Foundations team.

You don't need to be having a medical emergency to ask for help.
Whether you're anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, separated from friends or simply need support, please come and speak to us.

Tell us.
Speak to Security, Welfare, Medical, Event Control or another identifiable member of the Foundations team.
Violence, harassment, intimidation, sexual harassment, racism, homophobia, transphobia or other abusive behaviour has no place at Foundations.
Look after yourselves and look after each other.

Animals are not permitted on site.
ANIMALS
WASTE & LEAVE NO TRACE

Yes.
Waste management and leaving the site properly are a massive part of Foundations.
Please use the bins and recycling facilities provided throughout the festival and campsite.
Do not leave tents, chairs, sleeping bags, food, cans or camping equipment behind.
If you brought it onto the farm, take it home or dispose of it properly.
We are guests on this land.
Respect it.
LEAVING FOUNDATIONS & final rules

Everyone must be off site by 10am on Monday 31 August.
Departure operates between 6am and 10am.
Please pack your campsite properly, remove all of your belongings and rubbish and follow traffic instructions when leaving.

Foundations is independent and community-led. It only works if everybody does their bit.
Respect the land.
Respect the neighbouring villages.
Respect the crews, staff, security and each other.
No re-entry unless agreed with management.
No glass.
No gazebos.
No personal fires, BBQs or camping stoves.
Keep fire lanes and emergency routes completely clear.
Don't litter.
Don't be a dickhead.
Look after your mates — and look after people who aren't your mates.
Leave the site better than you found it.
